Words from Olah
As I wander about Central Oregon
photographing events, I enjoy a variety of messages from the artists.
KRS-One delivered quite a profound message aimed mostly at young
people who apparently knew him well. This show at the Domino
Room was well-attended. KRS-ONE also spoke at 3:00 that
afternoon at the Hitchcock Auditorium at COCC. His message was
to be true to oneself as you reach out to others, take care of this
temple (your body) because your spiritual being resides in it and your
body may have to last a long time. He also encourages you to
help others to have fun, peace, love and especially freedom, which he
believes is experienced within oneself. If my children were
going to a concert, this is a message I would be happy for them to
receive.
